This is the way I do all my mongering reports, by the way, in the style of a travelogue, just like the material I like to read. Like it or loathe it this is the way I do it. What you can’t fault is my passion for mongering and the fact that while getting no payment or reward of any kind for my efforts, I am sharing information with you that might come in useful. So, any more non-useful to this forum flippant comments posted here will not even get a minute of my time and for this reason I very nearly couldn’t be bothered to post this last report.

Monger Matt’s Mexican Adventure ……Final Part
Day of Departure
It was quite a bonus that with my flight not leaving until that evening I still had the best part of the day to enjoy Mexico City, extended if you like. Check out of the hotel was not until 1pm but wanting to make the very most of the day I checked out at 11pm leaving my suitcase and bags in left luggage with the concierge.

Monger Matt’s Mexican Adventure – Part 9 – Day 13
Day 13 and it was my last full 24 hours in Mexico City before flying out the next day evening. With staying in 3 different Veracruz hotels in different parts of town, generally getting up early so as to make a full day of things including that 260 mile round Day trip to the ancient city, plus adding to that 2 domestic flights turning my trip into a two Centre holiday, arriving finally to my 4th hotel I felt as if I had been away for almost a month. And I was happy with that and above all I felt I was getting good value for money in Mexico.

Part 8 Monger Matts Mexican Adventure
Joining the evening Metro commuters, most of who were wearing coats seemed bizarre having just come from sunny warm Veracruz, but in Mexico City it does get chilly later in the evening.

Zona Rosa where I stayed in Mexico City is situated between two main artery roads with Paseo de la Reforma (or just Reforma) to the north, and Av Chapultepec where Insurgentes Metro Station is, to the south.

Monger Matt’s Mexican Adventure – Part 6 Depart Mexico City
Before checking out of the hotel in Veracruz that morning, for a change I went to Burger king for breakfast just across the main road and feeling that I may not be in this part of town again before going to Mexico City, had a walk around the square again remembering the fellow monger who took the time to write about his own quality time of sitting in this very same square. Then just having time to walk over to visit the 16th century Baluarte fort, but only from the outside, I left the Hotel Emporio and Malecon with some nice memories.

Veracruz mongering street scene
Visiting these foreign countries and different places in search of a different experience I am sure as well as enjoying the smooth, we all have from time to time experienced the same rough, screwed up women, from crackheads in denial to the usual bitches with or without pimps controlling them who at their worst look at men who are well-mannered and who may even be generous to them as being weak and even stupid.

Part 2 – Monger Matts Mexican adventure Mexico here I come
Not having to get up at the crack of dawn this time to catch a flight, my car to the airport pulled up exactly on time at the more civilised hour of 9am. This is the way to travel but I did have a long journey ahead of me, 15 hours in fact with the connecting flight in Mexico City, so if everything went to plan I would be sipping a nice cold Mexican beer there in the main square right bang in the Centre of Veracruz realistically around Midnight Saturday night local time which would be close to around 6am the next day London time.

Where in the world??
Fellow Mongers, I’m sure we have all faced this very same question at some time or other when we have had the time and have had the funds to get away from it all, to travel as far as it takes, but the burning question has been to WHERE?, to where in the world do I go to next?
