About me
A little about me, My fist mongering trip was with a bunch of friends to Amsterdam in 1985. This was the first time I went with a prostitute and paid for sex, Taboo!

I think every mongering spot has its good and bad points, Iv never visited Dominican but on my todo list. Rio was great did not want to come home. What it lacked was sheer number of venues and was more expensive, but there was alot I did not try like the Massengens in Centro. Love your mongering site. I mongered from 2000 to 2007, then had to leave my job (with international travel), and I now have no money for local mongering — it’s very expensive in the US. We spoke early in 2006 on the phone, when was i coming again back to Thailand? and then I kind of started dating a girl locally nothing serious but like you do, and that was it we not ring each other again. I sent some texts to her when I was back in Bangkok 2007 – and she replied she was happy now and married someone. My heart sank some and im still in love with her. Thanks for the quick reply, I didn’t realize you had a top mongering post, as when I was looking through the categories seemed sorted into locations. If I could offer one more suggestion try and add more pricing information. That’s one reason I go on these trips. For the cost of a date or club outing here I can party, drink, and get a working girl for the night. Airfare can sometimes ruin the economics of it but if you stay longer it usually is a great deal. I find in these places great for mongering although your money goes alot further compared to back home unless you consciously budget, which is not in everyones abilities you can end up spending alot more as you live the rock star or king’s way.
Factor in the air fare and accomodation etc and its not that cheap.
What I can say if your into mongering then you really need to visit Thailand, Philippines and Brazil. Kenya is good too. They would be my top four recommendations so far.
More places I have not visited though than have, Dominican, Columbia, Costa Rica, Las Vegas, Sri Lanka, Hong and China to name a few, happy mongering.
Spent the better part of a day reading most of your blog (maybe 8 hours or so). You’re a writer amongst the best of them, but best of all, it’s been great to have it all on one site/blog. What’s more, you’ve really taken some big steps by traveling through Europe, Asia, North and South America, and even AFRICA!!! Takes me back to my one my trip to Pattya 5 years ago. Last year I Did some touring through Singapore (Orchid Towers), Kuala Lumpur (Beach House), and well…Costa Rica…which is a must see if you haven’t been there yet. Being that I’m so much of a relationship kind of guy, I can go on these trips with the short interims where I’m single! I noticed your blogs on dating and relationships. How’s this hobby affected having one? Are there long periods of being single or lonely between the trips? Have you sabotaged or ended one in order to continue the sport? I definetly have some regrets over breaking a heart or two for these types of adventures (since I prefer to be honest and cheating isn’t my thing). Also, it’ s been interesting to read about your woes about costs since that’s definetly a big part of it….having blown through $30k (US) on my travels last year alone.

In fact I wonder if in recent years Iv been more diverse in my travels because of my blog! Costa Rica, Dominican are definitely on my travel agenda, may hit one sometime this year being 2011.
Yes mongering has definitely cost me on the relationships front and dating, only recently my krakow trip killed off a series of dates with one particular young woman.
I do have long periods of being single and lonely, but its more I wish I could go mongering around the world 24/7 rather than be in a relationship, im the wrong side of 40 now. A wanderer. Is it destiny or could have something changed my trajectory, maybe a bit of both, but I just look forward to the next mongering trip makes day to day living and its dull predictability bearable.
